| These are part of Napoleon’s Imperial Guard. They are issued the same equipment as the Line Cuirassiers except that their helmets are in copper and the cuirass are in brass-plated steel. Their helmet crest is the caterpillar comb instead of the horsehair mane of the cuirassier. In other aspects including tactical role, they are the same as the cuirassiers. |
