This tank's official designation was Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B, but it was also known as Tiger II, Königstiger (German for Bengal Tiger), Royal Tiger, and King Tiger. It was first used in combat during the Allied Invasion of Normandy, and only 492 were produced.
