The main features of the kit: - Nearly 120 plastic parts. - Photo-etched fret. - Rear doors and sliding door may be posed open. - Decals for 4 painting/marking options printed by Cartograf. After the end of World War II, the French brand Citroen developed a series of simple, affordable panel vans and light trucks initially known as the Type H. Their distinctive design featuring an extended ‘nose’, rear-hinged ‘suicide’ cab doors, low flat floor and extensive use of corrugated metal body panels. Only subject to fairly minor changes throughout the 34 years of production, they have become iconic due to the popularity of these vehicles, of which over 473,000 units were manufactured. The reference AK35035 represents the panel van from the Type HY series as manufactured from early 1964 to late 1969, with a single windscreen, short chevrons on the radiator grille, vertical handle on the sliding door, and square rear window. The decal sheet includes marking for four colorful vehicles used by private companies from France and the Netherlands. All models are supplied as kits and will need to be assembled and painted. The picture illustrates how the model should look once completed. Glue and paint are not included in the kit. |
