Michigan Toy Soldier (MichToy) was founded in 1990 to provide fellow toy soldier collectors and historical miniature modelers the finest collectible figures, figure kits and related products from around the world. As collectors first and foremost, our business is run with that in mind; to that end, everything we sell is fully guaranteed to be 100% as described and can be returned for just about any reason.

Michigan Toy Soldier is staffed by a experienced, expert group of individuals, each a collector or modeler in their own right, knowledgeable in the hobby and able to answer and meet just about any need or question our customers may have. We have operated a brick and mortar store continuously since 1992. We are open seven days a week and located in the Metro-Detroit area. We carry a full line of new and old toy soldiers in plastic, metal and everything in-between, historical figure kits and miniatures, model kits, wargaming figures and supplies, books (reference, historical and how-to), periodicals and videos, artistic renderings and prints, paints and supplies, casting and sculpting materials, hobby tools, scenic and diorama supplies for the modeler, gamer or toy soldier enthusiast.

We also specialize in old toy soldiers of all types. We gladly accept want lists for old toy soldiers and currently maintain a free classifieds ad section in the Collector's Area of our web site for collectors looking for specific items. Because our inventory includes old toy soldiers for sale from a variety of dealers and we travel to shows throughout the world on a regular basis, we have been very successful in helping people in their collecting needs. We also offer appraisals on collections and accumulations.

About The Products We Sell
We have attempted to offer a wide variety of  manufacturers and styles of toy soldiers, figure kits and historical miniatures. We feel our product lines are the best available on the market today. Every effort is made to keep all listed items in stock at all times but please keep in mind that many of the companies we carry are small independent manufacturers and many items are hand-made to order. The same is true for plastic toy soldiers (including recasts), most of which are manufactured by small companies in small quantities. We are at the mercy of our suppliers and, in some instances, this can cause a delay of anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks (or more in extreme circumstances) in shipment of your order. In this case you will be notified of the expected delay and you will not be charged until the item is shipped. In-stock items will be shipped within a week of receipt of an order if paid by money order or credit card.

We Will Not Be Undersold
We match any price advertised by our competitors in the United States. Send us the Web link, or URL, or print copy of any current product listing and we will match that price, plus offer an additional 5% discount. Items must be in stock here and at the competitor. Excludes sale items or items advertised on eBay and any auction site. Matched prices negate preferred customer discounts.

About Our Mail-Order Service and Policy
We ship to every inhabited continent on Earth.

Most complete orders will ship the next day business day after we receive it and all complete orders will ship by the end of the workweek in which they are received. Any out-of-stock item is placed on back order. We keep all back-orders active for 60 days and will send them within that time period automatically without notice. For orders using a credit card nothing will be charged for a back-ordered item until it is ready to ship. If we still haven't received the item you ordered after 60 days we will notify you. You may cancel back-order items at any time or specify not to place anything on back-order when ordering.

Even with the best of intentions things do go astray and we will make every effort to rectify any problem that arises. High volume sometimes delays shipments and responses to questions but we do our best to respond to your inquiries as fast as possible.
