Some World War II fighter squadrons are famous, others infamous, but the Flying Tigers are legendary! The American Volunteer Group (AVG) flew for the Chinese Air Force during 1941-1942 and fought with courage and valor while enduring hardships and overcoming adverse conditions. We now honor the men of the Flying Tigers with this highly detailed and historically accurate P-40B Warhawk flown by R.T. Smith, Flight Leader of the AVG Third Pursuit Squadron "Hell’s Angels." The model includes an authentic paint scheme, detailed cockpit and one articulated pilot.
