This fearsome mounted Zulu comes to us courtesy of the those lovable socialists in the former East Germany. Produced in the DDR during the 1960s by the company Lisanto, this 7cm figure is actually hollow and not a true composition figure. I don’t recall the Zulus having much of a cavalry, making this fellow is a clear testament to the evils of communism and the bizarre imaginations of a people clearly shut off from the outside world.
