We received this happy, holiday rat with Art IG’s Christmas card and we have no idea what he’s all about! Possibly some Baltic holiday rodent who brings bread crumbs and stale cheese to the good little Latvian children on Christmas Eve. Or perhaps some rodentian depiction of the bourgeoisie merchant class; a hold-over from Soviet occupation. We may never know, but you might! Send us a resonable, if not factual, explanation of this piece and we will send him off to you with our compliments. BTW, he is hollow cast pewter, stands 2 1/4" and is dressed to the nines is black silk Elton jacket with tales, yellow waistcoat, red tie, top hat and walking stick.
