Each week the MTSC staff will pick out their favorite figures.

December 17-25, 2006

This week’s figure isn’t a figure at all but the best bit of ink we’ve ever seen and it comes to us on the arm of our good customer James Brophy. It’s his Grandpa Clayton Bellew, a private in the U.S. Marines during World War II. It came from an actual photo from the Pacific Theater; on the back was written, “When not on the front lines digging out Japs [Clayton was] behind the lines aiding the wounded.” James had it done at Kustom Kulture in Dearborn Heights, Michigan and it took two sessions of three and five hours each.
