Contains 425 Leaves per Sheet
Years ago,a well known modeler advised us not to model a tree with foliage in larger scales. Because at the time only ground foam rubber was available to model leaves...and that is just what it looked like...ground foam rubber. Since then there have been many improvements ranging from natural materials, to photo-etch metal. The most noticable thing about a tree in its natural enviroment is its change in "mood" with the time of day and weather. This is mainly because of the translucency of the foliage, because in bright light they can often glow in chromate green range, or become silhouettes in the absence of strong light. Anyone who has ever laid under a tree during the summer can attest to this.
We feel our die cut paper leaves, to date, are the answer to modeler's need for accurate, species specific foliage to model boughs, to camouflage vehicles, garnish helmets, and for the most ambitious...to model trees. The leaves are easy to remove from the carrier sheet...simply grasp an upper corner and slowly pull the carrier sheet toward you. This will leave the bulk of the leaves, with stems, attached to the clear backer sheet. Use a new #11 X-Acto blade to manipulate the leaves for attachment to your branch structures or wherever you are placing them. We have great success with common white glue. Simply touch the stem with white glue and position on the desired surface.
