Elastolin 7cm Roman Packaging

Early production Romans were packaged in colorful litho boxes. There were three different sizes and designs. Like all Elastolin boxes these could be placed side by side to crete mini scenes. Roman boxes are quite scarce today.

 

This is a late 1960's window box was actually made for knights as says so on the top but many were used for Romans with a Roman label on the bottom.

 

This limited edition of 400 sets was produced in 1981. Figure had the number of the set stamped into the plastic on the bottom of the base.
