On the left is an early production (circa 1967) Chariot while the one on the right is a very late production. The easiest way to identify the two is in the color of the base with the older base being a more yellow green. The horses on the older version also have a nice light wash on them.
The Roman Spear Thrower was released in 1963. It should include two spears and a small instruction sheet with box.
This shows some of the ingenious after market figures being produced today to enhance the original Hausser line. These operators for the spear thrower were never produced by Hausser.
