Elastolin 7cm Mounted Huns

Huns were released in Version 2 and Version 3 but the Version 2 are extremely scarce. Notice the difference in horses. The late one on the right has no wash applied and is painted much cruder. The early production horses contained a nice degree of airbrushing. The earliest bases had yellow and red paint as highlights followed by yellow highlights only and finally bases painted in straight green.

As with the majority of Hausser figures the easiest way to date production is the degree of shading and detailing. As the years went on both decreased until the late 1970's early 1980's when the figures were painted with no shading and very little detailing.
