Tipple-Topple is the name Pfeifer of Austria used to identify their 7cm figures. The firm was sold to Hausser/Elastolin in the 1920's. Many Hausser/Elastolin figures were issued by Tipple-Topple and are identical with the exception of the base, which is blank or has Tipple-Topple molded in. Tipple-Topple and Elastolin also maintained independent production on many figures most notably the Western Cowboys and Indians of which Tipple-Topple produced many unique and interesting poses. Production ceased in the 1950's.
