The Museum Collection is a new series of matte finish figures in handsome, easy -to-see packaging that features the detailed figure inside. Over the next few years the collection will grow to include histories of famous regiments, figures from different conflicts and other museum related miniatures and accessories.
The Black Watch
The series begins with a collection of one of the most famous regiments in British military history, the 42nd Royal Highland Regiment or Black Watch. In one form or another, the Regiment has been active since July 1, 1739 (and can even trace their lineage as far back as the 1660s). Initially raised to stop fighting and crime among the clans, the Black Watch has gone on to serve in just about every major conflict that the British Army has been involved in from Fontenoy and Ticonderoga to Waterloo, both World Wars and even Iraq 2003.
