 Because of the superbly detailed and highly realistic design Airfix is second only to Marx in popularity with plastic collectors. Early figures were sculpted by John Niblett with the later designs said to be done by Ron Cameron who also did the Britains Deetail line. Some figures have also been attributed to Charles Stadden and his design team.
