Crossbowman with Shield, 14th-15th Century AD
Successor to the traditional archer in European warfare, crossbowman aiming his ready weapon while standing behind his braced upright shield. He is attired in helmet and cuirass with crannequin and sheathed sword at his waist. White metal figure is expertly assembled and painted, mounted on finished wooden base with etched brass name plate. Sculpted by Yury Serevryakov.
