Panzer Tracts
They spent hundreds of hours accurately measuring survivors and hundreds of days drawing at full-scale to create as-built drawings for the first time - accurate to the same tight tolerances demanded of the original assembly firms. Hundreds of research hours went into finding the numerous previously unnoticed modifications. Many of these newly discovered details would remain "hidden" if printed as 1/35th scale overview drawings. Therefore, they have selected the unique approach of using 1/10th scale drawings to illustrate the smallest details on components; while six-view (including right side and belly) 1/35th scale drawings are still used for the complete Panther. They also created "flat-plane" drawings of many components to aid modelers make accurate parts that are hard to replicate when only drawn at angle.

Tanks of World War II
The armored forces of the North African and European theaters are depicted in 390 color paintings of tanks and related vehicles. Units from the United States, Britain, France, the Soviet Union, Italy and Germany all receive extensive coverage. The large paintings are rendered in a draftsman-like manner that makes it easy to measure dimensions and distinguish unit markings, paint schemes and details of equipment. Most of the vehicle paintings are accompanied by smaller pictures showing details of unit insignia and alternate turrets and other fittings.
French armored forces are covered in unprecedented detail, both in 1940 and later in the war, when British and U.S. vehicles were used. The evolution of camouflage schemes for all armies is covered in full, with commentary on when and under what circumstances each scheme was used.

The British Soldier Vol. 1
Volume 1, Headress, Uniforms, Equipment

By Jean Bouchery
The British Army (XXIst Army Group) that landed at Normandy was one of the most colorful and diverse ever assembled. Not only were such famous units as the Guards Armored Division, 51st Highland Division, commandos and paratroopers present, but the British also had under command large numbers of Canadian and Polish troops, as well as other national contingents. Each unit had its own distinct insignia or modification to standard British battle dress and equipment.
British armor was also at its most fascinating stage of development. The campaign not only featured many famous units in standard battle tanks, but many early-war tanks, Churchills and American-built Shermans had been modified into self-propelled guns, flame-throwers, mine-clearers, bridge-layers, anti-aircraft platforms, heavy gun towers, and amphibians in a display of ingenuity without equal in the war.
Depicts the British Army from Normandy to VE Day in unprecedented detail. Continental archives have been combed to find rare contemporary photographs as well as surviving weapons and equipment that are shown being worn by authentic-looking models and re-enactors in realistic settings. All aspects of this colorful army are covered in detail, from organizational charts down to individual equipment, insignia and decorations. Volume I, Full coverage of uniforms, insignia, decorations, equipment and individual weapons
