Large Color Chart Guide for Sammlerhandbook für Elastolin Kunstsoff-Figuren Band 1
(Collectors Handbook for Elastolin Plastic Figures Volume 1)

This color chart shows all (249) colors used for plastic figures with the Elastolin trademark produced between 1952 and 1983 by the Hausser company. Basic colors, color variations and special mixes for the large and small figures series are listed.
The large color chart fatures the complete samples needed for the identification of those colors noted in the Collector´s Handbook, volume 1. and 2.
The chart migth be updated by new colors. New or additional color samples and their explanations are available individually.

How to use the color chart: The best way to identify the figures is in daylight without being in direct sunlight. The use of a plant light or similar device is also recommended. In order to identify the correct color on the color chart, place the figure on the chart between the color squared that appear to match the color of the figure. Continue to move the figure from lighter to darker squares until a match is found.

Note: The large areas of the figures that are painted with cover paint are used to match the correct color. The figures done with PVI or PVI-II wiped (gew) are found in the middle to darker color shades. Keep in mind that we cannot guarantee any of the colors shown. Sunlight, dust or a greasy film of smoke and dirt may have changed the color of the figures. They may have been played with or there might also be some differences because of printing technique.
